This grade is a Heat Treatable Alloy with good mechanical and fatigue strength which is higher than AA 2011 and 2017a. The grade is used for Aerospace parts such as Fittings and wheels, military vehicles and other hydraulic machinery.
This grade is a heat treatable Alloy with good strength higher than AA 2014 and 2017a which gives very good machining characteristics and high fatigue strength. The applications are mainly Aerospace machined parts, general engineering and other military equipment.
This grade is a heat treatable alloy with good strength, which is usually produced and supplied in plate form. The common use for this material is Aircraft Structures.
This grade is a heat treatable alloy with very good corrosion resistance and medium fatigue strength. Its strengths are higher than AA 6005a. The use of this material is just as commercial as Aerospace with applications such as pylons, bridges, piping and motorboat parts.
This grade is a heat treatable alloy with higher strength than 7075 and very good fatigue strength and stress corrosion resistantance. This grade is used for high strength structural parts but is not suitable for high temperatures.
This grade is a heat treatable alloy with high strength slightly lower than 7010. For outdoor atmospheric environments corrosion protection is recommended. This alloy is used for Aerospace and Defence high stress applications. The material is also used for Sports equipment such as ski poles & tennis equipment.
